I thought that some of you might want some information on how to optimise a web page for the search engines. Here is a 60 second guide on how to optimise a page:
1. Choose a keyword(s) to optimise a page for.
2. Put keyword(s) in the title tag on the page.
3. Include the keyword(s) in the URL.
4. Include the keyword(s) in the meta description.
5. Include the keyword(s) in the meta keywords.
6. Put the keyword within an h1 tag on the page.
7. Put the keyword(s) within the text on the page. The density of the keyword(s) on the page should be between 2% and 5%. Write about the topic of the page naturally and this will take care of itself though.
BAM!! You’ve optimised your web page for keywords.
